Both lifeboats involved in first call-out of year

SHOREHAM RNLI’s first call of the year saw both lifeboats launched to help a broken down fishing vessel.
The all-weather and inshore Shoreham lifeboats were launched on Saturday at about 2.35pm.
The 18ft fishing boat had suffered engine failure off Lancing, with two people on board.

It was towed into the harbour by the all-weather lifeboat. The inshore lifeboat then towed the vessel up the river to a quay.
