A new boutique summer festival of food, music, lifestyle and fun is set to take place in Lewes this June.
JOY, on June 25 and 26, boasts live music and dancing, entertainment and workshops for children and adults, specifically Mountain Firework Company, Harry’s Tricks and Noble Jacks.
A teepee village and boutique living area will include outdoor and country living stands and garden design, as well as street food and pop-up bars.
An artisan food and drink market will offer a range including fermented pickles, seaweed, goat meat, reishi herb coffee, cob nuts, Isle of Wight garlic, English charcuterie, wild mushrooms and much more.
The children’s zone will host street entertainers, food and craft workshops and authentic vintage rides and amusements from Horton’s Steam Fair. There will also be a ‘Lost Bohemia’ catwalk and fashion marquee, wild flower wreath making workshops, wild cocktail and chocolate making workshops and a fairy trail with willow wands.
Organised by Food Rocks in partnership with Firle and Country Events, the festival is situated near Lewes Railway Station. Tickets are £5 advance, £7 on gate with children under 10 free.
