South Bersted Cubs and Brownies worked together for two evenings to organise the boxes.

Wendy Morris, the Cub’s Akela, said “With so much need in the world, it is wonderful to take part in an activity that has an immediate impact. Each box has essential items as well as a cuddly toy and sweets so each child who receives a box will know that someone cares.”

Students at South Bersted Primary School provided gifts, toiletries and stationary and Servite House residents knitted hats and gloves and collected money for postage.
