Boy, 11, chased by man wearing balaclava in Littlehampton

Police have launched an appeal for witnesses after an 11-year-old boy said he was chased by a man wearing a balaclava in Littlehampton.

Sussex Police said officers were called at around 9.20am on Tuesday (September 22) after an 11-year-old boy told his mother a man ran after him as he rode along Clun Road towards the junction with Arundel Road.

The suspect is described as wearing a balaclava and gloves.

PC Martin Baker said: “We would like to know if anyone else saw a man acting suspiciously in the area at about 9am.

“Witnesses are asked to email [email protected] or call 101 quoting reference 0292 of 22/09.”
