Boy hurt in road accident
An 11-year-old boy was taken to hospital after he was involved in a car accident.
It is thought the boy stepped out in front of a slow moving blue Rover 400 car.
The accident happened at 7.40am on Brighton Road, Newhaven.
The boy was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital suffering from grazing to his hip and stomach.
Police said there are no plans to prosecute the driver as witnesses confirmed there was no driver error.
