Boy’s hospital thank you

AN 11-year-old grateful to an intensive care unit for nursing his grandad has said ‘thank you’ by doing a charity swim.

Bradley Wilson, of Belsize Road, Worthing, swam ten lengths of Splashpoint on Saturday to raise funds for Worthing Hospital’s intensive care unit.

He raised over £120 in the process.

Mum, Kirstie, said: “My dad was admitted to Worthing Hospital in July and was in intensive care for 12 weeks.

“Bradley decided to do a sponsored swim to raise money for the unit.

“I am really proud of him.

“It was done all off his own back, when he came home one day and said he wanted to say thank you to the people who helped look after his grandad.”
