B&Q disaster: Investigations continue
INVESTIGATIONS into how kitchen cupboards fell 15ft on shoppers in a busy Worthing DIY store are still on-going.
Worthing council's environmental health team is looking into the cause of the accident at B&Q, Lyons Farm, on Saturday June 5, which left four people, including a paramedic, injured.
Council officers expect the investigations to continue for another couple of weeks.
B&Q was unavailable for comment on Wednesday morning.
Last week bosses apologised to shoppers and said an internal investigation had been mounted and inisted the shop was safe.
