When Jeanette Sutton chanced upon a box of Bratz dolls in a charity shop, she was inspired to ‘recycle’ and sell them to raise money for Love146, a non-profit international human rights organisation working to end child trafficking.

“I saw a video on how artist Sonia Singh bought old dolls, changed their faces and made new clothes for them,” said Jeanette. “I loved the idea that the faces of these dolls, so unsuitable, considering their target market, could be changed to be what they should be – normal little girl faces. I was excited because I support a charity which restores a child’s life again after exploitation of the worst kind, Love 146. The Round Home, run by the charity, needs money to make a secure place in the Philippines for rescued girls where they can be properly treated.”
