BREAKING: Emergency services at serious crash in Hellingly

Emergency services are at the scene of a serious crash in Hellingly this afternoon (Sunday, January 17).

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a person trapped following the two-vehicle collision on North Street.

Upon arrival, it was found no persons were trapped inside the vehicles. Fire crews are still in attendance awaiting the arrival of a second ambulance.

The A267 is blocked in both directions between the Boship Roundabout and the Swansbrook Lane junction due to the incident.

Police officers are also at the scene and motorists are being asked to avoid the area if possible.
