BREAKING: Lewes road closed after coach collision
Station Street in Lewes has been closed to traffic this afternoon (Thursday, March 8) after a coach reportedly collided with scaffolding at its junction with the High Street.
An eyewitness said it appeared the vehicle had been attempting to turn right into the ‘no entry’ zone.
They said a window of the coach had been smashed in the accident.
Emergency services were swiftly on the scene.
