BREAKING: Man stabbed outside Eastbourne bar

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed outside an Eastbourne bar last night (Wednesday, February 1).

Officers were called to Sovereign Harbour where a man was found with neck wounds after being attacked by another man armed with a knife at around 11.47pm, police said.

The 38-year-old was taken to the Conquest Hospital in St Leonards with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers arrested a local man, 28, on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

He has since been bailed until March 17 pending further inquiry.
