BREAKING NEWS: Air ambulance called to ‘industrial accident’ in Littlehampton

AIR ambulance paramedics are helping to treating a man involved in an ‘industrial accident’ in Littlehampton this afternoon, police have said.

The male was injured outside the Arun Civic Centre, in Maltravers Road, shortly before 3.30pm.

He is believed to have trapped his arm in a skip lorry.

Paramedics, firefighters and police are in attendance and provided initial first-aid.

A team from the Sussex Air Ambulance have been dispatched, landing in Caffyns field, at about 4.20pm.

The injured man is due to be flown to the Royal Sussex County Hospital’s trauma unit, in Brighton, police sources said.
