BREAKING NEWS: Firefighters tackling hay blaze at Kirdford

Firefighters are at the scene of a blaze on a tractor and trailer in Kirdford where 12 tonnes of hay are alight (Thursday, August 4).

Crews from Midhurst and Billingshurst are tackling the fire in Glasshouse Lane.

They are in the process of moving the hay from the tractor to a field where it can be damped down.

The cause of the fire, which broke out while the tractor was moving the hay, is not yet known.
