Breaking news - health bosses u-turn over cuts on children's ward
HEALTH bosses at the Conquest have done another bizarre u-turn - this time over shutting TEN beds in the children's wards at Hastings and Eastbourne.
They announced their plans to do this last week - but after front page coverage in the Hastings Observer on Friday - and a letter of complaint from staff - they have reversed that decision.
Hastings MP Michael Foster was in the hospital last night to protest about the plan.
But health bosses have reversed the decision - a statement is expected soon.
