BREAKING NEWS: Man wanted for Rustington robbery

DETECTIVES want to question this man in connection with a robbery in Rustington on Wednesday (May 14).

Sean Tierney, pictured, is wanted over the robbery at Maxted’s newsagents.

The 27-year-old, is believed to be living at Snowdrop Close, Littlehampton.

Detective Inspector Dave Wardley-Wilkins said: “We need to speak to Sean Tierney urgently.

“If anyone knows where he is or where he could be I would urge them to contact us immediately.

“If you see him do not approach him but instead call 999 please.”

Shortly after 5pm, on Wednesday, a man wearing a crash helmet with the visor down walked into the shop in Worthing Road carrying a gun and a drawstring bag.

He walked up to the till and ordered the staff to hand over money from the till.

The man escaped with a quantity of cash.
