BREAKING NEWS: Motorcyclist seriously injured in Lyminster crash

A MOTORCYCLIST suffered ‘serious injuries’ when he was involved in a crash in Lyminster this morning (Tuesday, October 21).

At 7.35am the rider collided with a car on the A284 Lyminster Road, just south of the Crossbush service station.

The motorcyclist, a 40-year-old man, was seriously injured and has been taken to Kings College Hospital in south London by an air ambulance.

The A284 was closed in both directions between the A27 at Crossbush and Littlehampton, and drivers are advised to avoid the area as far as possible for the time being.

The A284 is likely to be closed for some hours while police examine and clear the scene and highway workers make the road safe.
