BREAKING NEWS: Person struck by train at Hassocks, reports Southern Rail
A person has been struck by a train near Hassocks.
The incident has led to severe disruption to Southern services via Haywards Heath, Hove and Lewes including services to and from Brighton.
All lines are blocked through Hassocks, services will be subject to delays of up to 90 minutes with services being cancelled or diverted at short notice,
Replacement buses are being arranged to run between Brighton and Haywards Heath.
Brighton and Hove buses are accepting are tickets on all routes.
