BREAKING: Serious collision in Yapton leads to road closure

OFFICERS are at the scene of a serious crash in Yapton involving a collision between a motorcycle and a car.

A male motorcyclist has suffered serious internal injuries and is being flown to Southampton General Hospital.

The collision happened at about 2pm today (Friday, November 15) at the junction of the B2132 North End Road with Maypole Lane and Ford Lane.

The B2132 has been closed between Yapton and Lake Lane while the scene is made safe and officers investigate what has happened.
