Sunday 10th July: Church Services this morning are as follows: Father Anthony White conducts the Mass service at 9.00 am in St Theresa’s Catholic Church on the old Northiam Road, if you need to contact the Father his number is 01424 773125. At St George’s Church; the Sung Eucharist starts at 9.30am. Father Martin can be reached on 01424 883408. The Church’s Website is www.stgeorgesbrede.org.uk. From 10.30am Mr Alan Hurrell will be taking the service in the Methodist Church in Broad Oak today, The Reverend Peggy Heim is the Pastoral Minister and can be contacted on 01424 422350.

Monday 11th July: The Guiding section meet in the small hall of Brede Village Hall; Rainbows meet from 4.15- 5.15pm, they welcome girls aged between 5-7 years, some spaces are currently available, please contact Julie Piper on 01424 883464 or 07863599537.

The Brede Scout sections are all held in the Scout Hut Stubbs Lane, Beavers welcome boys and girls from 6 years old they meet from 5.15pm to 6.15pm. Cubs are between 8-10½ years old and meet from 6.30 – 8.00pm there are vacancies, please contact is Colin Ward 01424 852413.

Whist players will be in Brede Village Hall at 7.30pm.

Tuesday 12th July: Pilates in Udimore community Hall at 9.15am. Painting for Pleasure group meet in Brede Village Hall at 9.30am. Knitters and Natters meet in the Methodist Church at 10am they are knitting for various charities and will be pleased if any other people who like knitting join them.

Brede Scouts meet, from 7pm – 9pm in the Scout Hut and any young person 10½ or over is welcome please contact Andy Bishop 07811339626.

Wednesday 13th July: Brede Women’s Institute meet at 2pm in Brede Village Hall and it is an open meeting as there will be an Italian Cookery demonstration so all are welcome.

Thursday 14th July: Pilates with Laura is at 9.15 in Udimore Community Hall. Stretch & Tone with Sally in Brede Village Hall at 9.30am. Brede Friendly Circle have their Garden Party at 7.30pm at ‘Iduno’ Chitcombe Road.

Friday 15th July: Brede Short Mat Bowlers will be in Brede Village Hall at 7.30pm.

Sunday 24th July: Brede Firefighters Fete starts from 1pm at Broad Oak Recreation Ground. There will be lots to see and do and if you would like to bring a picnic or buy a beef burger, hot dog, beer or cup of tea we can celebrate the Queen’s Birthday as it was postponed in June because of the rain. This will be much more fun as there will be more to watch and do.

Friday 22nd July: Hastings & St Leonards Dementia Action Alliance presents an evening of Midsummer Music with Roger Wilcock & Hastings Big Choir. In St Thomas of Canterbury Church Magdalen Road, St Leonards on Sea TN37 6ET 7pm for 7.30pm. Tickets are £10.00 (£8.00 cons) & include refreshments. They can be purchased in advance from Hastings Tourist Information Centre Aquila House, Breeds Place TN34 3UY or Tel: 01424 451111. Prepaid Tickets can be collected at the door. Proceeds to HSLDAA & Church.
