Brede Youth Council: the Parish Council proposes setting up a Youth Council covering Broad Oak and Brede in the Parish to create a greater awareness of the wishes and views of young people to the Parish Council and the County & District Councillors covering East Sussex & Rother District Council who attend the Parish Council meetings. Equally, this will help young people to have a better understanding of local government and help them feel more part of their local community. It is important that a fair representation of the Youth in the Village is sought; and the Parish Council are looking for anyone in the age group 12- 19 years who live in the Parish to come forward to be involved in the Brede Youth Council. Please contact Councillor Rhiannon Oliver 01424 882037 or the Clerk Lesley Bannister 01424 882800 for more information and to log your interest.
