SAD NOTE: I will start on a sad note this week, my friend Maggie’s husband Chris Wharton died last Thursday. I am sure with me you will pray for her and her family and friends and hold them in your thoughts. If I hear about the funeral details in time to put them in the column, I will.

NEW ROAD: Doesn’t the new road look good? And the houses are going up quite quickly by the Rainbow Trout. Do contact Rother District Council if you work in the area and have had to move from this village because of a shortage of affordable housing. We have been told they are for people in this parish.
