The Tea Party: in Udimore had a scrumptious tea and hopefully quite a bit of money was raised for the Brede & Udimore Overseas Charities.

The road works: have been a real pain this week with the road shut off. The barriers are across the cross roads, but you can get access to the pub and homes if you ask the nice man on the crossing to let you through!! The road is shut off for a while, between 8.30am and 3.30pm Monday to Friday but please don’t let this put you off going to the Rainbow Trout or to see friends along Chitcombe Road. Apparently a nice lady driver is tarmacking the road it has been suggested we therefore should get a good job done. We shall see! I have to say where the roads have been repaired they are a joy to drive on.
