Friday 25 September: Yoga is being held in Udimore Community Hall at 9.30am. Brede Farmers Market is from 10am – 12 noon in Brede Village Hall. Fresh bread, milk, cheese etc vegetables, fish and meat. Hand made Cards, boxes and wooden items are also on sale as Fruit juice and hand made chocolate, yum. Do go and see and try; yourself. The last current WEA Practical Gardening is in Udimore Community Hall at 11.30am

Saturday 26 September: Best Kept Garden Presentation in Brede Village Hall at 2pm

Sunday 27 September: The Church Services are as follows: Father Anthony White conducts the Mass service at 9.00 am in St Theresa’s Catholic Church on the old Northiam Road, if you need to contact the Father his number is 01424 773125

At St George’s Church the Sung Eucharist starts at 9.30am and Father Martin can be reached on 01424 883408. The Church’s Website is http://www.stgeorgesbrede.org.uk

The Reverend Peggy Heim will lead the service in the Methodist Church Broad Oak at 10.30am Visitors are welcome at all the Churches.

Monday 28 September: 4pm Age Uk East Sussex Brede Community Club is open today from 10.30am – 3.30pm. Today News reactions, Mr & Mrs Sutton entertain. Summer sports day. The Guiding section meet in the small hall of Brede Village Hall; the Rainbows meet from 4.15- 5.15pm, they welcome girls aged between 5-7 years, the Brownies meet from 5pm – 6.30pm for girls 7-11 years old. You can also contact Hayley 07525168770 The Brede Scout sections are all held in the Scout Hut Stubbs Lane, Beavers welcome Boys and girls from 6 years old they meet from 5.15pm to 6.15pm. Tuesday 29 September: Pilates at 9.15am in Udimore Community Hall. Followed by another session at 10.15am. Brede Painting for Pleasure meet at 9.30 pm in Brede Village Hall.

Brede Scouts meet, from 7pm – 9pm in the Scout Hut and any young person 10½ or over is welcome. The contact is Andy Bishop 07811339626

Wednesday 30 September: Pilates are in Udimore Community Hall at 9.15 and 10.25am, followed by Vocality Choir at 2pm. The Mobile Library will be visiting Reedswood Road between 13.00 and 13.35 then Brede Village Hall car Park from 13.45 – 14.15 The Brede Crafters are in Brede Village Hall at 2pm

The Rainbow Trout have their Brilliant Blues Brothers Tribute night with a 2 course meal. Singing all the favourites such as Soul-man and Tail feather, the Professional act will be entertaining you all night.

Saturday 3 October: Brede WI Centenary Community Tea Party, 2.45 pm at Brede Village Hall. You are probably aware that 2015 is the centenary year of the Woman’s Institute. To mark this event locally Brede members are organizing this special tea party for local friends and residents. Do come along to share the occasion, celebrate with us by enjoying a delicious afternoon tea and view the exhibition of local WI history and related items of interest. The friends of St Mary’s Church Udimore invite you to a Murder Mystery evening performed by a very talented group. It will be held in Udimore Community Hall at 7pm and will include a fish and chip supper, take your own drink. Wednesday 7 October: book your tickets with Marion Firman 01424 751165 or with Pat Whately 01424 883069 for the Friends of St Georges Church have Dr John Crook presenting an illustrated talk about William Walker:- How Winchester Cathedral was saved by a deep sea diver. This will take place in Brede Village Hall at 7.30pm Entry is £7.50 which includes a glass of wine, cheese and biscuits. Book early to avoid disappointment.

Sunday 11 October: Brede and Udimore Overseas Group are inviting you to an afternoon tea party from 3pm – 5pm in Udimore Community Hall. Entrance is free but donations are welcome to support their four charities. They do hope as many as possible will go along to enjoy the afternoon of fun quizzes and a raffle.
