The Salvation Army: in Ore celebrate their 125 years of being in the community. They joined their brass band and singers with a brass band and singers from Zeeland Salvation Army in Holland and gave a wonderful musical concert to those who turned up at St Mary’s Church in Rye on Sunday evening. Their was talk of love and happiness and certainly there was that feeling in the full Church as the Holland group came around and shook our hands and told us which part of Zeeland they were from. The retiring collection was for the unfortunate people of Nepal who are in our minds and hearts at this moment.
