Friday 20 February: Brede Farmers Market is from 10am – 12 noon in Brede Village Hall. A great place to buy all your requirements and spend some time chatting with friends over coffee. Brede’s Short Mat Bowlers set up at 7.30pm in Brede Village Hall.

Sunday 22 February: the Church services are as follows: Father Anthony White conducts the Mass service at 9.00 am in St Theresa’s Catholic Church on the Old Northiam Road, if you need to contact the Father his number is 01424 773125. St George’s Church Sung Eucharist starts at 9.30am and Father Martin can be reached on 01424 883408. The Reverend Peggy Heim will lead the service at the Methodist Church in Broad oak at 10.30am for any queries contact the Chairman of the District Reverend John Hellyer 01293 774119.

Monday 23 February: Age UK East Sussex – Brede Community Club begins at 10.30am – 3.30pm. As every week; news then games of their choice, there will be a discussion about what outings they would like and exercises with Zena. Please contact Maureen the organiser for more information phone 01424 883282 or 07850 987130 She would be especially pleased to hear from you if you are phoning to join the group as it has many vacancies. Whist Players will meet in Brede Village Hall at 7.30pm.

Uniformed groups - Please contact the respective leaders if you wish your child to join this term. The Guiding section meet in the small hall of Brede Village Hall; the Rainbows meet from 4.15- 5.15pm, they welcome girls aged between 5-7 years, the Brownies meet from 5pm – 6.30pm for girls 7-11 years old. The Brede Scout sections are all held in the Scout Hut, Stubbs Lane; Beavers welcome boys and girls from 6 years old they meet from 5.15pm to 6.15pm. Contact Catherine Southgate 07833065028 if you have a child that wishes to join the section. Cubs meet from 6.30 – 8.00pm there are also vacancies for children to join, the contact is Colin Ward 01424 852413.

Tuesday 24 February: Pilates are in Udimore Community Hall at 9am. Brede Luncheon Club meet at 12 noon ready for a lovely lunch. At the Scout Hut in Stubbs Lane from 7pm – 9pm 1st Brede Scouts meet and it is for any young person 10½ or over the contact is Andy Bishop 07833065028. The Rainbow Trout has Bingo this evening; eyes down at 8.30pm.

Wednesday 25 February: Yoga 7.00pm Udimore Community Hall.

Thursday 26 February: Sally is in Brede Village Hall at 9.30am with Stretch and Tone.

Friday 27 February: Brede Farmers Market is from 10am – 12 noon in Brede Village Hall. Brede’s Short Mat Bowlers set up at 7.30pm in Brede Village Hall. Rainbow Trout hold their Crazy Horse Race Night. Starts at 8.30pm proceeds going to Wipe Your Tears Charity which raises money for terminally ill children.

Saturday 28 February: at Udimore Community Hall the Poetry & Prose evening takes place 7.00pm for 7.15pm. It was such fun last year that people are looking forward to it this year. It is traditional to take along a piece of poetry, verse or whatever to read out. The evening will include a hot supper and costs £15.00 per person.
