SAVE OUR BUSES: It is not to late to make your feelings known about the possible cuts to the 342, 340 and 341 and cuts to Dial a Ride and the Community bus, although I noticed in last weeks paper John Izzard may have kept the Community bus safe, The proposals by ESCC will have an impact on people who rely on the buses for work and others who need to go to the Conquest or surgeries in Rye and shopping. There are petition cards in the shops and an online consultation paper or you can hand in any piece of paper with your comments on before 28th September. It is imperative that you have your say; because when the buses are gone it is unlikely that they will ever be reinstated. Libraries also have the consultation papers, send your comments to Carl Maynard our County Councillor at East Sussex County Council ASAP.
