Fly Tipping: Please be vigilante, and if you see fly tipping report it, no doubt many of you saw the car in the lay-by as you entered Broad Oak a member of our community reported it four weeks ago but it took three for it to be removed however so much debris was left behind the kind man who reported the problem picked up all the rubbish and took it to the tip worrying that as a Bank holiday was coming up someone else would think it okay to offload their rubbish there. I am sure we all care for our village so do report these senseless people who spoil our environment.

Brede Flower Festival: was so busy Saturday and Monday despite the rain, Sunday was a bit quieter. So many people worked extremely hard to make it a success. The flower arrangers had so much praise for the wonderful depictions of the books that they made from flowers, the Church looked amazing. Then there was the army of helpers cooking and doing refreshments, and those running the stalls and car parking Father Martin thanks everyone who helped. It is a very social event enjoyed by many people from here and far away. Tina was concerned that small communities miss out on training so asked for the following to be added to the column.
