Saturday 23 November there will be a Hospice Coffee Morning in Northiam Village Hall 10am 12 noon with the usual stalls and all profits are in aid of St Michaels Hospice. This evening a Winter Ball has been organised in aid of Dragon Flies (part of St Nicholas Fellowship) It will be held at the Azur, Marine Pavilion from 7pm tickets cost £35 and include a 3 course meal. Northiam hold their 1st Procession and Bonfire Night as it was many, many years ago when they last hosted the event; it is the last event of the Bonfire calendar so if you want to see organised fireworks and A big Bonfire then dress up warmly and support the new society; as it is the last I should imagine all the Bonfire societies from across Sussex will attend and It should be quite an occasion. Part of the A28 will be closed from 6.30pm onwards. Organisers ask that you do not take your own fireworks for safety reasons.

Sunday 24 November St Georges Church Brede will have a Family Eucharist at 9.30am followed by coffee. At the Trinity Methodist Church the Reverend Peggy Heim will be the preacher at 10.30am Service. In the Rainbow Trout from 5.00pm the 1066 Rockitmen will be performing

Monday 25 November Age Uk Day Centre offers new board games; jigsaws and also a raffle, members are asked to take a raffle prize if they can. Zena will be doing armchair exercises. This all kicks off at 10.30am in the Village Hall, if you wish to join the group then please contact Maureen Distin 01424 883282 The Whist Players are in the main Hall at 7.30pm. Rainbows meet in the small Hall at 4.00pm followed at 5.30pm by the Brownies. In the Scout Hut Beavers begin at 5.30pm to 6.30pm, Cubs follow from 6.30pm – 8.00pm. Tuesday 26 November the Brede Luncheon Club meet to enjoy a superb cooked lunch followed by the raffle. Members will be welcomed at 12.30pm in Brede Village Hall. The Mobile Library visits Oakhill Drive 3pm – 3.40pm Reedswood Road 3.50pm. In the Small Hall at 7.30pm Brede Parish Council will hold their Monthly meeting, members of the public are always welcome to come and hear what is happening and to ask questions.

Wednesday 27 November Brede Crafters group meet at 2.00pm in the Village Hall. It is sad that not many turned out for their Fair last Saturday, many people had worked long hours to produce the wonderful array of garments and gifts that were for sale. Yoga is in Udimore Parish Hall at 7pm.

Thursday 28 November at 9.30am Join Sally for Stretch and Tone in Brede Village Hall, for foot to floor exercises, which are so good for you. The Mobile Library visits to the Village Hall between 1.25pm – 1.55pm.

Friday 29 November Brede Farmers Market 10am – 12 noon The Bell Ringers are erecting a tree outside St Georges Church and covering it with lights. If you wish to donate a £1 and have your loved one remembered or for a special occasion please put your name in an envelope and either give it to Andrew Burchett at the Farmers Market or drop it into his house Alexander Cottage, Stubbs Lane Brede TN31 6EJ. A list of dedications will be put on the Church noticeboard and the sum raised in the Parish Magazine in the New Year. Also Philip Romani will be there if you wish to renew your Champions of Brede, this supports the maintenance of the Village Hall. Flu Vaccinations for Dr Albardiaz patients from the Broad Oak surgery will be available at the Northiam Surgery form 2.00pm- 3.00pm. No appointment is needed. The Short Mat bowls are at 7.30pm. Live music from the Mix Beats is at the Rainbow Trout from 9pm

Wednesday 4th December Brede School Christmas Fair 3pm –4pm they would like to invite the community so if you want to add to your Christmas gifts pop along and support their good cause.

Thursday 5 December the Cranbrooke Town band will be giving a concert Brede Village Hall at 7.45pm Entrance is £4 It is an excellent concert with songs from shows played and a few carols it really puts one in the mood for Christmas and has begun the Christmas period for my family for many years. This will be the second of five days events in the village pertaining to Christmas.

16th December Brede School have their production of Mother Goose
