The children from Year 1 of Brede School enjoyed a day at Great Dixter last Thursday. They enjoyed studying the plant life, playing hide and seek, getting muddy, which children love to do and then the next best thing filling their tummies by eating a delicious rhubarb crumble! Yum! The School wish to say a huge thank you to everyone that contributed to their Comic Relief fundraising event. A fantastic £195 was raised from the mufti, cake sale and raffle. A new OFSTED publication can now be found at http://dashboard.ofsted.gov.uk/ . By entering the school’s postcode TN31 6DG you will be able to see how well Brede Primary School is doing in relation to other schools.

Friday 5 April Mr Broccoli is visiting the school today! Each class will attended a workshop to see a vegetarian stir fry being cooked and then have a chance to taste the delicious end result! Once again they will also be welcoming M & M Productions to Brede this afternoon. They will be performing Tom’s Midnight Garden to Years 3-6, to support their current Literacy work in class. It all sounds so interesting.
