Brede hosts health session to keep elderly warm

HEALTH professionals will be able to help elderly people stay safe and warm this winter when a special session takes place at Brede Village Hall on Monday.

Age Concern East Sussex runs a daycare service in Brede Village hall.

They are inviting people to join them on Monday at 1.30pm when Sara Winnington will be giving a short presentation about Fuel Poverty.

Rhiannon Oliver said: “There is some concern that this winter will be very cold and some older people will suffer. So come and listen then you can share the information with your family and friends

“It is suitable for all ages and it is hoped that many will benefit from this outreach work by the voluntary and statutory agencies who will have stands in the hall.

“There will be an opportunity to look around them and have any queries answered after the presentation.”
