The annual Broad Oak Firefighters’ Fete is being held at the Recreation Ground this Sunday, July 29, from 1.00 pm.

With plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained, this is always a well-supported event in aid of a very worthwhile charity. Hopefully the weather will be kind to encourage a good crowd to turn out during the afternoon. Another regular is the NSPCC Garden Party being held on Wednesday, August 1, at Little Monkings, Rocks Hill from 2.30 pm. Both of these events would welcome as many people as possible.

Brede Cricket Club will be away at Beckley this Sunday, July 29, with a game that begins at 2.00 pm. The following week they are back home again, when Hastings Wanderers will be the visitors, 2.30 pm start.
