BREDE Community Club (Age UK) is holding an Open Afternoon next Monday, July 16, from 1.00 pm until 4.00 pm in the Village Hall. You are invited to join the regular members to find out more about the Community Club, join in the Healthier Lifestyle workshop and enjoy a cream tea. Brede Cricket Club have three away games in a row now. This Sunday, July 15, they visit Netherfield with a 2.30 pm start, them Sidley on July 22 and Beckley on July 29. These last two games begin at 2.00 pm

The annual Broad Oak Firefighters’ Fete will be held at the Recreation Ground on Sunday, July 29, from 1.00 pm. This is always a well-supported event with plenty of activities to keep you entertained during the afternoon. Another regular is the NSPCC Garden Party being held on Wednesday, August 1, at Little Monkings, Rocks Hill from 2.30 pm. Both of these would welcome as many people as possible

Services at St. George’s Church during the coming week are a Sung Family Eucharist at 9.30 am with Evening Prayers and Intercessions at 6.00 pm on Sunday, July 15, and Holy Communion at 9.00 am on Thursday, July 19, and Friday, July 20.

Trinity Church continues at Broad Oak this Sunday, July 15, with their usual 10.30 am service which this week will be conducted by Mrs. T. Brice..
