Brede village voice

We are rapidly approaching Jubilee weekend and a varied programme of events has been prepared. Buy your bunting now and have it up ready for the village photographs to be taken and don’t forget to order your mugs as well. Themed scarecrows should also be erected. Photographs of your house, club or group should be e-mailed to [email protected] for inclusion in the Jubilee book.

Things get off to a start on Saturday, June 2, with a sports tournament at the Recreation Ground from 11.30 am. Refreshments will be available. There is to be a BBQ at the Rainbow Trout at 3.00 pm and this will include some garden games and a mini beer festival. In the evening at 7.30 pm in the Village Hall, Brede Players will be putting on an evening of entertainment entitled ‘Jubilee Jubilations’. Entrance is £5 per person and you can make up parties of 8 per table. Please bring your own food and drink and dress in red, white and blue if possible.
