Brede village voice

Due to a number of reasons such as health, retirement or moving away from the district, the Beaver Scouts and the Scout Troop are now in urgent need of leaders. They have a well-equipped Scout Hut, which has recently undergone extensive refurbishment, standing in its own grounds.

The requirement would be for two hours per week, plus time for planning and some training. Any CRB checks that are required will be paid for. There are some leaders who will be able to help you get started, but it has been necessary to close the Scout Troop and Beaver Colony as there are not enough adults to run them. The 1st Brede Cub Scouts meet Mondays from 6.30 to 8.00 pm in term time only. Please contact Colin Ward on 07980-171877 or Rhiannon Oliver on 01424-882037 if can help at all or visit the facebook page: 1st Brede Scout Troop.
