Breeding success at Pagham Harbour
ANOTHER successful breeding season for birds at Pagham Harbour nature reserve has been reported.
Despite dry and difficult conditions during the spring, wading birds such as lapwing and redshank have successfully bred within the reserve’s wet grasslands.
“Little terns have again raised young this year on the bare shingle of Church Norton Spit, along with ringed plover and oystercatcher,” said a report issued by West Sussex County Council.
