Bridge team success

Players from Bognor Bridge Club won their recent home match against the Arun Club.

The success by 32 imperial match points takes Bognor's record in the Arun League to two matches won and two lost.

The winning Bognor team comprised Sue Baker (captain), Richard Lowe, Maureen Dufficy, Paul Williams, Dennis Winton, Peter Mayes, Heath Heathfield and Bill Davies. As well as Bognor, the league consists of Chichester, West Worthing and Arun.

Matches see both clubs take an A and B team, who play against their respective opposition.

After each board, players return to their partners to compare their results for the hand. Their results are added together and converted into an IMP score.
