Isaac Bartlett-Copeland, head chef of Isaac At who turned 25 in March, said: “It’s amazing to be placed so highly in the list, especially when Brighton and Hove has so much to offer when it comes to great restaurants.

"We’re so passionate about our local concept and what we do, so it’s incredible to be able to help put Sussex on the map like this.

"I started the business with less than £25,000, so to see how far we’ve come in three years is very overwhelming. We love what we do and we’re a really strong team, which helps us stay fresh and innovative with new dishes.”
