They were filmed yesterday for the #NannequinChallenge at the Age UK West Sussex centre in Lyon Street, Bognor Regis.

Manager Gary Hardley said: “I am very proud to say that my members did really well. Please share and let’s see it go viral so that we can raise money for our much-needed centre in Bognor Regis, where we have over 1,000 members and 100 volunteers to help us run the club, otherwise we couldn’t afford to operate.”

The challenge was organised by Rachel Holden, whose nan uses the centre.

Gary explained: “She moved here, then her husband died. Her family brought her to the centre and it has just changed her life so Rachel wanted to do this for us.

“It was done by a professional crew. They arrived at 11am yesterday and filmed just after 1pm. It was done in one take.”

The video has been posted on the Facebook page Nannequin Challenge with the message: “Here’s what happens when the older generation take on the #MannequinChallenge.”

Rachel explained: “I set up the #NannequinChallenge to raise money for AgeUK West Sussex, who transformed my nan’s life after the death of her husband.

“Let’s support their incredible spirit and humour and raise as much as we can for AgeUK West Sussex this Christmas.”
