British Heart Foundation open garden

THE Bexhill branch of the British Heart Foundation held an open garden event and, along with two days of collections at Tesco Ravenside, raised £614 for the Conquest hospital's echogram machine.

The open garden was held at 52, Cranston Avenue, the home of Cynthia and Barry Edwards.

Lesley said:"Thanks to Mr & Mrs Edwards for kindly opening their garden for us. The weather was better than expected and along with viewing the garden, everyone enjoyed sitting outside with a cream tea and taking home cakes from our stall."
