Broad Oak is hitby spate of thefts
THE Broad Oak area of Brede was hit by five thefts and break-ins in the space of three days.
Three sheds were broken into at Furnace Lane and a bicycle stolen from one.
A laptop, wallet, £296 cash and a power tool were taken from an insecure vehicle in Northiam Road on Thursday and a wooden bench and chair were stolen from a garden in Chitcombe Road.
