Burglar disturbed by homeowner in Seaford

A MAN disturbed a burglar in Seaford when he woke up at around 5.55am and went downstairs on Saturday morning (December 3).

The intruder made off with cash and credit cards once he realised he had been spotted in the property in Walmer Road.

The intruder was dressed in black, possibly with hooded top and gloves and was about 6 foot and of medium build.

The victim was not harmed and the burglar ran into Walmer Road.

Detective constable Dave Styles said: “This was a frightening ordeal for the victim and we are appealing for witnesses.”
