Bursary worth £200 available

Up to £200 is available to a young resident of Aldwick. The cash for a person under 21 years of age comes courtesy of Aldwick Parish Council.

It will be paid to enable the individual to carry out a project which will either benefit the local community or contribute to a chance for them to improve themselves.

Applications for the latest bursary must be submitted to the parish council on the appropriate form. It is available from the parish offices on 01243 263330. Completed forms must be received by February 1.

Last year's winner was dancer Matthew Williams. He used the award to help pay for a final year tour as part of his Central School of Ballet degree course. He is now performing in Matthew Bourne's touring version of Nutcracker.
