Burwash

OPEN GARDENS: Well the weather held for the National Garden Scheme open gardens in Burwash last Saturday. Seven garden were open to the public to visit and they came in good numbers. Around 485 people visited including NGS members and children under 12 years. With contributions from sales and donation they raised £2,351.50 for the NGS. The members of the village hall committee made and served the refreshments and thanks to the wonderful donations of cakes etc., made £685 for hall funds. Thank you to everyone who opened their garden and to those who helped in anyway. Another amazing success for our lovely village.
