Burwash

Burwash Festival: what a fantastic time we all had last week at the Burwash Christmas festival. There was so much to see and do for all the family. Santa was in his grotto at Cheriton, which had been beautifully decorated for him, where he saw dozens of children. There was a great time for kids at the scout hut with a carousel. The Bear was a hive of business with lots of stalls selling an array of items. The flower house showed us how to make the Christmas wreaths. Carol singing and mulled wine at the Rose and Crown. A barbecue at the the butchers, hog roast at the Bear. Lots of tombolas, raffles and so much more. The pentacle drummers were very good too. The Christmas light along the high street were switched on by Lucy Khuler. Thank you to everyone who helped in any way to make this one of the best festivals yet.
