Remembrance: At 11am today there will be a 2 minutes silence and prayer at the war memorial in Burwash. On Sunday there will be the annual parade and service of remembrance in St Bartholomew's church. The parade will be led by the Heathfield silver band and set out at 10.45am along the high street to the war memorial, where the wreaths will be laid. The parade will then enter the church for the service before forming again and returning to the Bear Car park. You are all very welcome to go along and take part in remembering those who gave their lives so that we may live.
