Burwash

Gardens: The weather just about held for the Burwash Open Gardens last Sunday, with only a couple of minor showers it certainly didn’t stop the visitors form coming to our lovely village. With 14 gardens of varying size and shape open there was something for all to enjoy. The cakes at the refreshment centre were amazing and such a wide variety helping to raise almost £800 towards the total of the day of £3,979. Thank you to everyone who took the time to join us. It was so nice to see people who had made the journey from afar. Thank you to all the holders of the stalls and a massive thank you to the wonderful ladies who did the washing up, managing to keep up with the demand for crockery. A big thank you to all those who opened their gardens and a massive well done to Shirley Viney for organising yet another successful event. The money raised will go towards the new windows at the village hall.
