AGM: The Patients of Fairfield Surgery Patient Participation group will be holding their AGM on Thursday, at the Bear Motel at 8pm. All Fairfield surgery patients are eligible and cordially invited to attend. At this meeting there will be three vacancies on the committee to fill. If your think you can help serve the surgery and the community go along and see what you can do. A talk by Elizabeth Mackie of Healthwatch and a Q & A session with a Fairfield GP.

Meeting: This month’s Parish Council meeting will take place in the Pavilion at Burwash Common on Tuesday evening from 6.30pm. All members of the public are welcome to go along. This is your community you have a right to know what is happening in it.

BLG: The members of the Burwash Ladies Group will meet on Wednesday at the Burwash Village hall from 2.15pm. New members and visitors are always welcome. This time they will be entertained by John Cave with song s, Poetry & prose. Do go along and join in the fun.

After 8’s: The ladies of the After Eight club will meet on Wednesday evening at the Pavilion in Burwash Common. They enjoy a wide and varied programme of talks, events and fun. They will be getting ready for their coffee morning in aid of Admiral Nurses and Air ambulances on 11th April. To find out more go along on Wednesday or call Jan McCartney on 01882117.

Jumble: On Saturday 14th March the guides & brownies will be holding a jumble sale in the village hall. If you have items of good clothing, bric-a-brac, books, toys etc you would like to donate. Call Jackie Ashdown on 01435 882196

Tea: You are invited to treat you mum to a special tea on Mothering Sunday at Batemans, from 2,30pm to 4pm.
