Burwash

Quiz result: Thank you to everyone who came along to the Short Mat Bowls club’s fun general knowledge quiz evening last Saturday. We all had so much fun. Question masters Terry Parker & Steve Bennett once again did a sterling job devising the questions, some of which really made us think. Eight teams took part, answering a wide variety of questions, they enjoyed a delicious hot supper amid much laughter and chat. Our grateful thanks to Terry & Steve for all their hard work and to everyone who supplied one of the amazing raffle prizes. Final figure hasn’t been given to me yet but it is hoped to clear £300 for club funds. The winners were The Odd Bods
