Burwash

My contacts tell me that the Bur-fest music festival, held on Saturday at the Bear was a huge success. The weather was mainly dry and what little rain didn’t spoil the fun. All the groups were superb with many from the crowd dancing in front of the stage. The general feeling was it was great fun enjoyed by all ages. Well done to the organisers for giving us such an amazing day. Everyone was a winner especially the teenage Cancer charity. Not sure how much was raised yet, but tickets sales were a sell out. Who needs Glastonbury!

Tomorrow evening the class of 1975 -80 of Robertsbridge Secondary School will be getting together for a reunion and catch up at Battle. If you were at the school then and are fifty this year and you wish to join in you need to contact Joanne Pennells on 07970 001656. I am sure they will all have a great time once they re awaken the knowledge of who is who.
