• A big thank you to everyone who supported the special supper at the Bear motel last week in aid of the Shoe Boxes for the Soldiers’ Shirley Viney has been sending theses special boxes with items that the soldiers are really grateful for, especially those in the hot climate. With the help of groups and individuals who donate the items she is able to send several every month. The supper was well attended and raised over £800. Thank you to Steve Mintram who organised the event and the staff at the Bear for all their hard work.
